ROOSTERS…..ROOSTERS…ROOSTERS

I never knew so many people wanted to be farmers! This game of Facebook is getting out of hand. I was sitting watching TV over the weekend when my wife, let’s out a scream ..I jump up thinking something’s wrong, but she tells me she just bought a barn!!!
Anyway, it is now spilling over to real life. Roosters have now invaded my kitchen, and this is just a few! What’s next a goat in the backyard??? I’ll keep you posted.

I was at the bank the other day waiting in line, there were about 3 people in front of me, but the line wasn’t moving, the people ahead of me weren’t just making transactions, everybody had some kind of problem. I was getting frustrated, and started to think about waiting. Do you think I was getting inpatient because I didn’t want to waste any time, because I have less time to wait??? I wonder if guys in their 20’s, say, “What’s the big deal, I few more minutes, I’ve got another 70 or so years to live”. Maybe not, but we live in such an instant gratification society, I mean; I can’t stand to wait for a page to load on a web-site. Another thing that drives me nuts is waiting on hold, how come you have to go through the entire voice menu before you hear the “need to talk to somebody option”. One more thing when you’re at the doctor, and they send you back to the examination room, and you’re waiting say 10 or 15 fifteen minutes, when is it OK to peak out the door, and say, did you forget about me? I got to go now, and wait in line at the supermarket….”Can you please open up another register!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of you know I’m a big fan of Jerry Seinfeld, so I never miss an opportunity to quote him, so, what’s the deal with guys wearing shorts in the winter. You can’t tell me your legs don’t get cold, I mean even if its 40 degrees, it’s got to give you a chill, and if it’s windy there might be an updraft. That can’t be good. I know it’s a Colorado thing, since I’m not a native, can somebody please give me some feedback. I don’t get it.

If you haven’t been there in a while, you gotta go, no the Las Vegas Visitors Bureau isn’t paying me. It’s just great fun. A short plane ride and it’s like you’re on a different planet! We got to see Bette Midler at Caesars Palace, she was amazing. I thought this was very cool for here to do:

BETTE MIDLER TO MATCH FAN DONATIONS COLLECTED TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND SUPPORT TO EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN HAITI THROUGH FINAL SHOW JANUARY 31 AT THE COLOSSEUM AT CAESARS PALACE
Bette Midler and Her Fans Raised $38,742.62 for Haiti Earthquake Victims at The Showgirl Must Go On at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Sat., Jan. 16
Deeply touched by the devastation in Haiti, The Divine Miss M. encouraged fans to keep the victims in their thoughts and made the announcement that she would match the funds raised before she sang, “Wind Beneath My Wings.” Bette’s showgirls, affectionately known as the Caesar Salad Girls, were taking collections at the doors once the show was over.
All funds will go to Doctors Without Borders, an international medical humanitarian organization operating in Haiti.
