Timeline:  KOSI weekend.

Thursday Night:  Kosi Uncorked with artist Rachel Platten.

Saturday:  K-Mart Remote with Karl Mecklenburg!!!

Sunday:  USA Pro Challenge VIP and Stage Duties.  Whew!

That’s me giving away a Cannondale Bike from the USA Pro Challenge stage before the Flobots!

Don’t get me wrong, it was a long, hot, tiring weekend, but I wouldn’t trade jobs with anyone else.  :)

Grateful…

this is priceless!

 Job at the FBI

The FBI had an opening for an assassin.

After all the background checks, interviews
And testing were done, there were 3 finalists;
Two men and a woman.

For the final test, the FBI agents took one of
The men to a large metal door and handed him a gun.

‘We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the
circumstances.
Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair … . . Kill
her!!’

The man said, ‘You can’t be serious. I could never shoot my wife.’

The agent said, ‘Then you’re not the right man for this job. Take your wife
and go home.’

The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went
into the room.. All was quiet for about 5 minutes.

The man came out with tears in his eyes, ‘I tried, but I can’t kill my
wife.’ The agent said, ‘You don’t have what it takes. Take your wife and go
home.’

Finally, it was the woman’s turn.. She was given the same instructions, to
kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard,
one after another.  They heard screaming, crashing, banging on the walls.
After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood
the woman, wiping the sweat from her brow.

‘This gun is loaded with blanks’ she said.  ‘I had to beat him to death with
the chair.’

MORAL:

Women are crazy. Don’t mess with them

Otis the pug has been doing this thing to stuffed animals ever since he was a puppy.  He sucks their faces!  What is that?  Plus, you should HEAR the little grunting/whining sound he makes, too.  Is it like thumb sucking in human children?

Now, Moose the french bulldog does not allow me to take pictures of Otis by himself, so that is Moose on the rug.

Funny little freaks.

Hi Gary! I’m the biggest fan of Les Mis because I’ve actually READ (or attempted to) the original tome by Victor Hugo! I got the novel as soon as I saw the show back when I was 15 years old. I even took the city bus to see the show because I didn’t have a car back then, later, I was lucky enough to become pen-pals with Lea Salonga, the actress/singer who portrayed Eponine in the 10th Anniversary Concert in London; and now that I’m in my mid-30’s, I feel like life has come full circle – I’m now teaching my 13-months old baby daughter all my favorite songs from the musical, and she can actually hum along!! I am hoping to train in a new generation of Strong, Resilient, and Die-Hard Les Mis fan! ;-) Also, please let me win because my birthday is at the end of August, and this would be utmost cool birthday present for an overworked but hopeful ‘mommy of two’ who still wants to DREAM THE DREAM that she once did as a teenager. ;-) Thank you! Ellen
