Friday June 25th at 3:00pm, in nearly 100 degree heat, I took delivery of my new Mazda 6! Happy days are here again!!!!!!!

Nothing against BMW in general, but seriously, this car was a money pit. Many lessons were learned with owning this particular car. These are lessons I learned. YOU may have a different experience.
1) Never finance a used car.
2) Never buy a used car over 5-years-old.
3) Never buy a used BMW.

Boo-hoo, my vacation was ending on Father’s Day! While I waited to board my plane out of PDX, the airline announced that there were 25 WWII Vets arriving from Washington D.C. on our plane! My blues were instantly chased away, as I grabbed my camera and started shooting these pics! Keep in mind, all of these men were over 86-years old.

This Vet served in The Gulf War. He held one of the flags lining the ramp.
This is Smitty. He hugged me after the procession, and gave me some VET FACTS. 85% of all WWII Vets have already passed on. 800 WWII Vets die every day in this country. WOW.
