Some of you know I’m a big fan of Jerry Seinfeld, so I never miss an opportunity to quote him, so, what’s the deal with guys wearing shorts in the winter. You can’t tell me your legs don’t get cold, I mean even if its 40 degrees, it’s got to give you a chill, and if it’s windy there might be an updraft. That can’t be good. I know it’s a Colorado thing, since I’m not a native, can somebody please give me some feedback. I don’t get it.

It was 30 years ago today that the USA beat the big bad Russinas in hockey at the olympics.  What a time in our history of sports.  What were you doing?…watching the game?  I remember exactly what was happening in my life.  I was working in Milwaukee, that asme night as the game we had tickets to the ballet.  I know, you are right I was a bit crazy about going to the ballet and missing the big game.  Well at that time we recorded everything on our VCRs..no DVR back then.  I set the thing to record the game.  I’m thinking ,    I’m at the ballet, I will never hear the score.  I’ll keep the car radio off driving home and watch the game when I get home….AHHHH the perfect plan.  I keep my wife happy at the ballet and I watch the game later.  WELL…the silly ballet is about half over, when all of sudden they STOP the show…and…you guessed it, they announce the score and the big USA win.  Life over as I know it……

I slipped on the ice in the driveway, didn’t fall, but I think I did a Triple Lutz, or might have beeb a Double Toe Loop. I’ll check with the judges!!!

9 News reporters Susie Wargin and Matt Renoux have started a trend at the Olympics.  Susie has been wearing this cute pink hat while doing her live reports from Vancouver and the Denver ladies want to know how to get their hands on the cap.  She has actually been buying the hat for the viewers that email her…what a sweetie!  As far as I know, you can only get it in Vacouver at the Olympics.  Matt is not going to be left out in the fashion field, he has started sporting this yellow scarf.  I wonder if he considers it his “gold?”
