I just got back from the pet store, I bought two more slider turtles for my boys.  About 7 mths ago my oldest sons turtle died.  It was his first pet and pretty difficult.  He since then had a lizard….we said goodbye yesterday.  So here I am at it again.  I thought reptiles were supposed to last looooong time??  We are doing everything right….I think.  The store told me only to feed the turtles pellets, so no lettuce for this one.

My Traffic reporter buddy, Jonathon Steele and I were talking on the air yesterday about our favorite Christmas movies. His two favorites were Bad Santa, and Scrooged. I loved both of those movies, but my favorite is The Christmas Story, followed by It’s A Wonderful Life, which of course is a classic, another classic I love is Miracle on 34th St. For comedy you can’t beat Christmas Vacation, and the first Home Alone was pretty good too. After a 14-hour broadast, Kosi 101.1 raised all that money for the families of ill children. This is our second year doing this event for Ronald McDonald House, and I am so honored to have been a part of it.

I finally put up my Christmas lights on Thursday..the last warm day of the month I’m sure.  My neighbors always mock me when I put them up this early.  Now keep in mind I don’t turn them on until Thanksgiving day.  However by then my neighbors are out in the cold trying to get their lights up.  Carol thinks I went overboard this year with the amount of lights I put up.  I don’t think a thousand is to much, do you?  Well ,we will find out.  If your house lights dim on Thanksgiving evening when I turn those babies on, I guess it is to many……

I was in Home Depot the other day, and yes a huge Christmas display was up!! It was the same for every other place I was in from Walgreens to Kohls. In fact, even KOSI is streaming christmas music on our web-site, but I’ve yet to see one house with Christmas light up yet. Have you seen any. Let me know.
