I ran Kids Cure for Cancer this past SUnday, it’s a 5k.  I haven’t really been working out much lately, so it really did overtime on my body.  So worth it, there are some amazing families that need help at Brents Place!

I did a little survey around the building here yesterday. I asked the folks who work here, if they remember watching the lunar landing and Neil Armstrong walking on the moon. Guess what??? Do I feel old, only 13 out of about 100 employees were old enough to remember? While my immediate emotion was “depression”, the more I thought about it that I got see a part of history that was truly amazing. Any of us, who witnessed this event, will never forget it. I’m glad I was around to see it.

Hey you all, it’s time  for the annual Huston sweat tour.  All of our family is in the midwest for the most part.  So every year I pack it up and spend 2 weeks mooching off relatives.  It really do enjoy it, I know it’s a long time to be gone but I will check in.  Remember to take the time that you have to enjoy your family and friends.

It’s always so true, we live so close to those beautiful mountains we look at everyday.  But how often do we get up there.  I’m as guilty as you are, Carol and I haven’t been to Breckenridge in years.  We used to go up there all the time when the kids were younger.  We went up last weeken as I had to MC athe NRO concert, what a great group of kids.  It was so beautiful in Breckenridge, I felt quilty it had been so long  since we had been there.  If it’s the same for you and your family, just look at these pictures I took with my phone and you will be up there next week.
