is a must, though!  Then I add REAL maple syrup, REAL butter, and REAL milk.  Enjoy and spread
the word that you don’t have to buy the expensive pre-packaged oatmeal to get these amazing flavors.  DYI!

Our wonderful evening host on KOSI, Delilah, was in town for a book signing at the Tattered Cover in Lodo. We had a small private gathering with her before the signing and it was super. She is everything you think she is by listening to her, very real. I loved the fact she has the same on-the-air morals as me. We won’t touch certain subjects or talk about possible clients, if they don’t fit the family image we strive for. She has 10 children and 5 grandchildren and loves them all very much. If you have not listened to her on KOSI, you should. The phone calls alone are worth the time.

Days of Our Lives just bumped two of the main characters…Marlena Evans, Deidra Hall, and John Black, Drake Hogestyn.  I am so bummed!  Marlena was my favorite and I’ve met her in person….amazing, kind person.  She donated autograph items for our Ronald McDonald Radioathon.  I just don’t get it “Days”….dumb move!

WOW..what a great day Tuesday at the Ronald Mcdonald House radiothon. Thanks to all of you we went way over what was expected..almost $50,000. It was a wonderful heart warming experience to be part of the adventure. We were wondering ,with the state of the economy, how it would go, you guys never let us down. It was great that Rocky the nuggets guy came by with some of the Nuggets dancers. Ian Lapierre of the Av,s called us from on the road in Calgary to cheer us on, what a great guy. The big thrill was quaterback Jay Cutler came by to urge us on and say HI to the kids. Jackie Selby and I got to talk to him as you can tell by the pictures above, what a great young man and yes girls he is single. We made life very comfortable or as comfortable as it can be with a child in the hospital for a lot of families…thanks to you

Here is my mocca recipe!
Try this and pass it on to
YOUR friends!  ENJOY.

Fill coffee mug 3/4 full of coffee or decaf.
Add 2 heaping tsp of unsweetened cocoa powder.
Stir like the devil!
Sweeten to taste….I like Slenda or agave syrup.
Steve Cassidy likes to use granulated sugar. 
Stir like the devil!
Pour in the milk!  Whole or 2% is yummy.
Skim is horrible in the recipe.   So, live a little
and have some fat! 
Nuke it to bring it back to the temperature
you like.

I did a little decorating with my friend   Actually A LOT….repainting practically the entire house.  My friend Nancy is an interior decorator for Stickley Furniture…her house is amazing.  She crashed at my house for the weekend and helped me pick out colors, frames, decorations….its a new house!!  Love it   Mike came home from hunting this weekend and his jaw dropped!!  He actually loved it, what a relief
