Do you own a dog?  If you do let me ask you this.  Do you ever feel like the thing is making fun of you, mocking you.  I love my 2 Dumb Friends League beasts, Dublin and Bailey.  You’ve heard me talk about them before on the air.  Dublin is the alpha female, Bailey is just a big good ole boy.  We’ve had these 2 for a couple of years now and I love them dearly, they are my friends.  Well, the last couple of weeks a few things have happened with them and I’m convinced they are making fun of me.  I got up from my precious nap they other day and here is Dublin actually chewing on my shoe!  She has never done that before.  When I began to lecture her I swear she made a noise that sounded like a laugh!  I couldn’t believe it, could she have just laughed at me?  I just walked away in disbelief.  Then on Monday I was doing the back yard cleaning thing, I always get that job.  I’m about half way done when I glance back to where I had already cleaned and here is Bailey doing his deed again!  I start to walk at him, a little steamed when I swear he stuck his tongue at me, I couldn’t believe it!  He finished and just walked away.  Now either I need a week at the Aurora home for the strange or my friends are picking on me.  I think I’ll just lay low for awhile

Barack Obama accepted the nomination tonight for President of the United States at Invesco Field and the stars alligned to see it happen.  Here are some the celebrity sightings from downtown Denver: Jennifer Hudson sounded amazing over 80,000 yes we can, then thanking the clintons…hear cheering ashley judd…I saw her with an older lady, could be mother in law…she’s married to race car driver franchettie??(not sure if that’s how you spell)  funny, a lot of people didn’t recognize her.fergieI think I saw Eva Longoria, not sure…with a group of girls, where’s Tony Parker?  is he in town? Anne Curry…beautiful in personjesse morreale..owner of Tambien, rockbar…renamed barackbar for convention and La RumbaEllen Burstyn, looked amazingtmz cameras, actually really cool people with tough jobAnderson Cooper interviewing at cnn grill….aka brooklyns…with MTVFinally found out where Oprah is….with Michelle Obama, entered suite with her….gossip hounds running around chatting about it….still didn’t see herAnne Hathaway  and Hayden Panttierre from Hero’s together.

What an incredible night at the Pepsi center last night.  President Bill Clinton, Senator Joe Biden and yes…Barack Obama made the stage.  I had a chance to chat with many celebs who came to Denver to support the DNC.  Jesse Jackson, Chevy Chase, Jamie Foxx, Deidre Hall from Days of Our Lives, and Robert Kennedy took time to talk with me.  Check out the pics on my dirt page!

This is OTIS my pug dog!  As spoken about on the air this morning.  I know, I know, he has a face only a mother could love!  But people stop me almost everynight when we are out on our walks–they think he is sweet!  Pug people are nuts, just ask Mike Nelson from 7 New Weather!  He has two of these crazy creatures!

Charlize Theron was spotted chowing at Elways yesterday, Debra Messinger crossing the 16th Street Mall, Rob Riggle from Jon Stewart Daily show downtown and Sandi Jackson (Jesse Jackson Junior’s wife) shopping at Mariel.  Murf and I still haven’t seen Oprah…girl where are you??

Stop the presses!  There has been a birth in my circle of friends.  NOT ME!  My  good friend Corinna and her husband Will welcomed this lovely little boy as ofThursday last week.  Behold:  Ezra.  What a doll!

There is a lot of excitement in town this week with the DNC going on.  I hope you treat this an historical experience and not as a bother to your life.  I know you can’t experience all that is going on first hand but I can tell you is is interesting.  Denice and I have been trying to get around as much as possible biu the security is unreal.  One thing you can do as a family and I reccomend is “The Presidential Experience” set up in the parking lot of Mile High stadium.  It is all about the highest office in the land, lots of interesting history here for the whole family.  I especially enjoyed the life size set-up of the oval office and the section of Air Force One that was used by many presidents.  As you can see by the picture of me and Denise in the plane I am the president and she is the first lady.  Of course you probably think it is the other way around, she is the president .  What would that make me, the first Man?  Her personal assistant, of I know, something of a court jester if there was such a thing..I’ll say no more.  Check this event out it is worth the few bucks it costs..

The Gunnison Car Show was a blast!  AND the two Corvettes we ran down there BOTH won awards!  This car, the ‘98, won best original Corvette.  I kept telling all the people at the show that it was a chick-car, because it is, and that must have worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That is my friend Jackie Malouf on the right, she is the owner.
